Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension

We were fortunate to be selected by Child's Play Party to host the first ever Disney Channel Movie Screening Party! We watched Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension.

Movie Overview:

In this animated adventure--based on Disney  Channel's Emmy Award winning comedy series "Phineas and Ferb"--stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey yet, into another dimension! When the boys finally discover that their beloved pet platypus Perry is in fact a secret agent who battles the forces of evil daily, they join him on a grand adventure that blasts them to another dimension where a truly evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken over an alternate Tri-State Area. When they uncover his ploy to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-State Area, the gang, as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him.

The kids loved the movie and loved all of the goodies we received from Child's Play Party. Each child received a Phineas and Ferb tattoo sheet, Phineas and Pherb masks, Phineas and Ferb stickers, Phineas and Ferb buttons, and a sling bag.  I also had purchased each child a Phineas and Ferb bucket, pencil, post-it notes, and fruit snacks.  I put all of  the goodies into their buckets! We had Capri Suns to drink as well as cookies, cupcakes, and popcorn.

At the end of the movie, the parents filled out a survey to detail their movie party experience. I was pleased to read from my guests that they all loved the movie, even as parents. The most common remark from the parents was that they appreciate how creative Phineas and Ferb are and how they think outside the box! I truly appreciate that as well. With so much in the world today and technology rapidly evolving, it's nice that there is still cartoons out there that challenge a child's imagination and way of thinking! A HUGE Thank You to Child's Play Party and Disney Channel for providing this wonderful viewing experience for our family and friends. We had a blast!!
